Umm did I miss something - Lornars is hard!! - Guild Wars Forums

So Im adventuring for fun tonight...playing at the Frost Gate and decide to see if I can make the long trek down to Beacon's. I grab the monk healer and go for the challenge. Turns out it wasn't bad. Just a bunch of Centaurs all level 8. I finally make it to Beacons with maybe a 1 death or so and I zone out the other side in to Lornars pass and BAM, the game just got 10X harder. From itty bitty level 8 to groups of level 24 that obliterate me in seconds.

Did I miss the bus or make a wrong turn? No I'm not really doing missions tonight, just aimlessly walking around. Never seen the game take such a turn before.

Just curious...

think u went out wrong portal thing. 1 side goes to the lvl 24+ mobs. otherside continues with ur lvl 8 mobs. you should see it. go the opposite way of the big meaty warriors going out to try to run it.

You took a wrong turn. Lornars pass is meant for rushers trying to get their end-game armor. To do that, you need a 12 year old kid playing a high level warrior to run you through to Droknar's Forge :P

but if you're not one of these "leetsters" then getting a group together to try to go through the pass is pretty fun... well... not getting the group together part, but running it. I recommend trying to kill stuff along the way, if you don't then it's like a 15 minute long gauntlet.
